For today’s blog post, I wanted to experiment with putting together a monochrome outfit. I’m usually not a huge fan of monochrome looks—I think they can appear cheap if done improperly—but I figured I should try it out again for myself. One of my favorite inspirations for all-over color and just super funky outfits altogether is Blaire Eadie of Atlantic Pacific. Her outfits may be the very definition of impractical, but I can’t help but love her whimsical pairings and color combos. Transitioning My Favorite Summer Romper to Fall

I didn’t get around to publishing a blog post yesterday, but considering how many posts I’ve missed in the last few weeks, I figured I’d deviate from my schedule and just post it today instead. I wore this outfit a couple weekends ago when I went out to dinner and drinks in downtown Denver. I knew I wanted to style this secondhand romper (it feels like the right amount of ‘going out’ cuteness without looking like I’m hitting up a club), but it took several iterations—and a pile of clothes on the floor later—to land on this outfit. A White Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving! I thought we might have a white holiday this year, considering that it was snowing yesterday, but this morning I woke up to find only a frosty layer on the grass and a mysterious fog looming over the city.
