It was my turn to choose the theme for this month’s Thrifty Six collaboration, and I landed on jumpsuits! I chose the theme several weeks ago (I assume with a specific outfit in mind), but by the time I actually went to photograph a look last week, I had no idea what to wear… Funny, considering it was my choice. I have a handful of secondhand onesies now, from my favorite floral romper to this teal velour jumpsuit, but I ultimately landed on this shapeless scarlet number (although I can’t wait to style the velour jumpsuit with a black leather jacket come fall!). Boy, it was an emotional roller coaster of a month! Between the stress of finals, the nostalgia of finishing at the University of Denver, changing relationships, and trying to figure out what the heck I want to do with my life post-graduation, it’s safe to say I had one or two breakdowns throughout the month of November… But they were all the necessary kind, the type that makes you feel so much better afterwards. I’ve been feeling down about all the great things I’m leaving behind in Denver, but I also know there are so many, even better things ahead!
