Exploring Old San Juan

I had so many collaborations and blogging work to catch up on when I got back from vacation that I’m only getting around to sharing my Puerto Rico content now! I felt so inspired there—something about the warm weather and being by the ocean just makes my heart happy. We spent our first couple of days in San Juan, the capital city. Old San Juan is the part of the city that dates back to the 16th century, with the original city walls as a perimeter connecting the Spanish San Felipe del Morro and San Cristóbal fortresses. The Thrifty Six Style Jumpsuits

It was my turn to choose the theme for this month’s Thrifty Six collaboration, and I landed on jumpsuits! I chose the theme several weeks ago (I assume with a specific outfit in mind), but by the time I actually went to photograph a look last week, I had no idea what to wear… Funny, considering it was my choice. I have a handful of secondhand onesies now, from my favorite floral romper to this teal velour jumpsuit, but I ultimately landed on this shapeless scarlet number (although I can’t wait to style the velour jumpsuit with a black leather jacket come fall!).  Continue reading “The Thrifty Six Style Jumpsuits”

Transitioning My Favorite Summer Romper to Fall

I didn’t get around to publishing a blog post yesterday, but considering how many posts I’ve missed in the last few weeks, I figured I’d deviate from my schedule and just post it today instead. I wore this outfit a couple weekends ago when I went out to dinner and drinks in downtown Denver. I knew I wanted to style this secondhand romper (it feels like the right amount of ‘going out’ cuteness without looking like I’m hitting up a club), but it took several iterations—and a pile of clothes on the floor later—to land on this outfit.
