It’s been a long day of travel, but it was well worth it considering I just got back from such a relaxing week in Las Vegas with my boyfriend’s family. The university that employs me decided to give us last Wednesday and Friday off, in addition to the expected Thursday, which was such a treat! It was my first holiday spent away from my own family, so I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss them a ton… But I enjoyed trying new Thanksgiving foods and traditions, as well as soaking up the much warmer desert weather.
