Today’s Thrifty Six collaboration is in remembrance of Vivienne Westwood. I have to admit, when Emma announced this month’s theme, I had never heard of Westwood before… After a little research, I learned that she was an English fashion designer who passed away in December and was known for her punk and edgy styles. A ‘Night Out’ Look with The Thrifty Six

It’s time for another Thrifty Six collaboration, and this month’s theme, chosen by Nancy, is a little out of the ordinary… “We’re not angry birds!” While I was initially taken aback by this fun and unique theme, I quickly thought of this teal faux fur jacket that I thrifted while in Scotland. Sure, it’s not feathers, but faux fur was the next closest thing in my closet. And the pretty color reminded me of the beautiful plumage of a peacock! All the fall vibes for today’s Western-inspired outfit! I’m teaming up with the other seven bloggers of the Magnificent Eight again to showcase that you can’t put an age on style. Western was the perfect theme for October because you could take it as costume-y (think cowgirl) or as casual as you liked! I think with the right makeup my outfit is giving scarecrow vibes.
