I somehow didn’t take any photos this week, so I’m just reusing one from Tuesday’s photoshoot for today’s cover photo. My dad’s been in town this weekend, so we’ve been busy catching up, trying to squeeze in some fun despite the crappy weekend weather and going to my favorite Denver restaurant, Wash Park Grille. I also on a whim decided to start a 28-day wall Pilates challenge this week (yes, I saw a bunch of ads on Instagram which inspired me to find a free YouTube version), and I think it’s going well so far! Weekly Recap #15, 2024

All of the trees started blooming this week, and it’s been so pretty out! Of course, that means lots more sneezing than usual, but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make for that wonderful spring smell. While I always thought fall was my favorite season, I’m beginning to think maybe spring is instead—nothing puts me in a better mood than that first warm day after a dark and cold winter. Weekly Recap #14, 2024

I started the week in Las Vegas, a quick trip to celebrate Easter and my mom’s birthday with my whole family, and finished the week back home in Denver with a completely empty schedule—just what I needed to recuperate after a very busy March. As I mentioned in my monthly recap, I’m trying to do a no-spend month in April, which is already proving more difficult than I imagined! It’s not like I shop that often, but I realized some of my to-do list items, like finishing my college scrapbook or reorganizing my OneDrive files, cost money (buying the rest of the photos, paying for additional storage, etc.). I never considered how my no-spend goal might affect some of the other tasks I was hoping to accomplish this month—I definitely had to re-think a few things. Continue reading “Weekly Recap #14, 2024”
