November 2021 Month in Review

Boy, it was an emotional roller coaster of a month! Between the stress of finals, the nostalgia of finishing at the University of Denver, changing relationships, and trying to figure out what the heck I want to do with my life post-graduation, it’s safe to say I had one or two breakdowns throughout the month of November… But they were all the necessary kind, the type that makes you feel so much better afterwards. I’ve been feeling down about all the great things I’m leaving behind, but I also know there are so many, even better things ahead! Weekly Recap #47, 2021

Phew, what a hectic couple of days! You can imagine how busy it’s been since I’m not even publishing my weekly recap until Wednesday… almost feels like a moot point this late into the week. Even though it’s been a very stressful few days, I survived my final quarter at the University of Denver after taking my last exam Saturday night. Just waiting to get a few grades back now! It feels so good to officially be on winter break, especially knowing that I’ll be heading to Scotland in January for study abroad. So many exciting things ahead! Weekly Recap #42, 2021

Today’s post is going up so late because I spent the past six hours with a friend procuring a pumpkin and making gluten-free pumpkin bread from scratch… It was an ordeal, but thank goodness the loaves turned out yummy! I also asked him to take a cheesy picture of me mixing the batter like in a 1950s housewife commercial for today’s cover photo—I think we nailed it. In other news, this past week marked halfway through the quarter, which meant I spent a bulk of my time studying for two midterms.
