One Blazer, Two Ways

Today I wanted to showcase how to style a blazer for work and for a night out! While I’ve always loved dressing up and wore something “work appropriate” almost every day in high school, I feel like several of my college friends are just now delving into the world of professional attire as we start to do interviews, participate in internships, and look for jobs after college. Today marks the last day of this year’s “virtual” Fall Fashion Week in New York City. As I understand it, 2020’s NYFW started September 13th and has included a mix of virtual shows and even a few in-person runway events with very limited audiences. I’ve never been one to actually “follow” fashion (and clearly I don’t keep up with that many trends), but I’ve still always dreamed of attending fashion week. But nonetheless, I still hope to go someday! So, in celebration of this fashion-filled month, I decided to round-up a post of my fashion-related bucket list items. Maybe I can’t do them just yet, but someday soon I’ll be back in the world and struttin’ my stuff! Continue reading “My Fashion Bucket List”

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me share some behind-the-scenes pics/videos on Saturday of one of my photoshoot days. As you can imagine, I take a lotttt of photos for the blog, which means I also get a lot of weird stares from passersby as I stand with a tripod and take a bunch of pics of myself (narcissistic, much?). I had such a fun time sharing behind-the-scenes on Saturday that I wanted to keep up the trend and tell you about the weirdest photoshoot experience I’ve had to date. Like I said, taking a bunch of photos out in ~the wild~ is odd enough as it is. But this particular photoshoot? Definitely the most eventful one I’ve had in my nearly-four years of blogging… Continue reading “The Weirdest Photoshoot Ever…”
