Survived another work week! Isn’t this view from my office building parking garage amazing? I’m still struggling a bit to get into a routine—by the time I get home from work, I’m so tired and lazy that I don’t have the motivation to do anything productive. I did really like this week’s business casual outfits, though, and I threw in a few fun outfits on the weekend. It’s funny to think that some of my wardrobe is now very strictly weekend attire. Today I wanted to showcase how to style a blazer for work and for a night out! While I’ve always loved dressing up and wore something “work appropriate” almost every day in high school, I feel like several of my college friends are just now delving into the world of professional attire as we start to do interviews, participate in internships, and look for jobs after college. Well, with the so-called “Zoom University” back in session for most of us, and continued work/social meetings hosted through Zoom, I figured it was about time I share some ideas on looking your best during video calls. It comes as no surprise to anybody that Zoom is extremely unflattering, so I wanted to share a few tips and tricks to look just a *little* bit better on camera. I initially planned this post around looking put-together and professional for an important virtual interview (or work call), but these tips are just as applicable for everyday online school, or even your virtual social events.
