I was pretty absent from the blogging world last week (which felt so good), but I’m excited to get back into things this week and to catch up on my longggg to-do list. I know everyone has already said this, but I just can’t believe it’s August! A follower recently responded to one of my question boxes on Instagram Stories with the suggestion of doing a “raiding my mother’s closet” type blog post. I don’t know how the thought had never crossed my mind to do a blog post like this, but of course I had to give it a try! I actually helped my mom clean out her closet a few weeks ago (just before my own closet cleanout of 2020), which of course my organization-loving self enjoyed immensely. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen me share some behind-the-scenes pics/videos on Saturday of one of my photoshoot days. As you can imagine, I take a lotttt of photos for the blog, which means I also get a lot of weird stares from passersby as I stand with a tripod and take a bunch of pics of myself (narcissistic, much?). I had such a fun time sharing behind-the-scenes on Saturday that I wanted to keep up the trend and tell you about the weirdest photoshoot experience I’ve had to date.
