Differences in Education Between Scotland and the U.S.

Well, I waited so dang long to post the rest of my study abroad content that it has now become back-to-school content instead… I guess it works, considering most of the outfits I wore in Scotland were more suited for fall, anyway! Today I wanted to talk a little bit about the differences in education I received abroad compared to my home university in the States. For those of you who don’t know, I spent my final semester studying at the University of Glasgow (GU) in Scotland, and I attended the University of Denver (DU) for the other three and a half years of undergrad. November 2021 Month in Review

Boy, it was an emotional roller coaster of a month! Between the stress of finals, the nostalgia of finishing at the University of Denver, changing relationships, and trying to figure out what the heck I want to do with my life post-graduation, it’s safe to say I had one or two breakdowns throughout the month of November… But they were all the necessary kind, the type that makes you feel so much better afterwards. I’ve been feeling down about all the great things I’m leaving behind in Denver, but I also know there are so many, even better things ahead! Weekly Recap #44, 2021

I’ve been so good about getting my weekly recap posts up every single Sunday this year, but I just didn’t have it in me yesterday! So, I’m posting a day late and will be sharing my usual month-in-review blog post on Thursday instead. It was such a fun Halloweekend, and for once the weekend actually felt really long—up until I had to wake up this morning, of course.
