4 Outfits for the 4th of July (Part 1)

Pic 7

Good morning! I realized last night (well, this morning) at 12:30 A.M. that I completely forgot to write this blog post! Generally when I miss a post, it’s because I didn’t have pictures or internet connection. But today? I just completely forgot, so that’s why this post is late. Ok now, with the 4th of July right around the corner, I figured it was time to start providing a little outfit inspo. For today’s post up until Friday’s post of next week, I will share an outfit that would work for the patriotic holiday. My hope is that the outfits are different enough and for different occasions that everyone can find something she likes! Continue reading “4 Outfits for the 4th of July (Part 1)”

Goodbye Summer

Pic 11

Looking back at these photos makes me think of summer. Sure, the season is still summer, but school is back in session and vacation is over. I’m having a hard time saying goodbye. I just have to remember that there are plenty of things to look forward to in fall, like cooler weather and Halloween!! Continue reading “Goodbye Summer”

Sunset Skirt

Thank goodness it’s Friday!

Isn’t this skirt really pretty? I think it looks like a sunset, and even though I’ve never been to Hawaii, this seems like it would be the perfect outfit to wear on vacation there. I originally put on some shell jewelry, but then I decided that was too island-like for not being on an island…

I wore this outfit to go see a movie with my friends downtown and then to get ice cream afterwards. I saw Me Before You. Did any of you see it? More importantly, did any of you read the book? I loved the book, but I have to stop talking about it now, and those of you who have read it or have seen the movie know why…

I bought this skirt the same time I bought the orange and navy skirt I wore in Wednesday’s post. I can’t believe it’s been four years since I got them! Or that they still fit; today’s orange skirt is getting on the shorter side. I remember buying these skirts for my trip to Puerto Rico, so at least this one was intended to be worn on an island. 😉
