The Glasgow Fashion Scene

Back in the day, when I used to post “travel guides” after spring break trips and family vacations, I would always share a small section about the fashion I saw in whatever location I was visiting. Some places have a distinct style and way of dressing (for example, I would say my hometown Boise is very “outdoorsy”—lots of Patagonia, athletic skirts, etc.), whereas other spots don’t really have any sort of pattern or trends to notice regarding fashion. While Glasgow doesn’t necessarily have one distinct style that is most popular, there are definitely a few things I noticed during my past four months here! It’s time for another Thrifty Six collaboration! This month’s theme was monochrome… well, more specifically, boldly colored monochrome sets. As you all know, I have a very limited wardrobe with me here in Scotland and an even more limited selection of thrifted items (especially because I sent a whole suitcase home with my parents a week ago!). My Favorite Swimsuit Styles

I know it’s a *little* late in the summer to be sharing swimsuits, but as a true sale shopper, I tend to purchase items at the end of the season once everything is discounted. Unfortunately, my cute striped bikini from Target is almost entirely out of stock online (as is the rest of Target’s swimsuit inventory). However, Aerie has been killing it with their swimwear lately and a lot of their pieces are still in stock—and on major sale right now.
