By now it’s probably no surprise that I love any excuse to celebrate… That means birthdays, achievements, holidays, and yes, even Valentine’s Day, regardless of relationship status. I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Valentine’s Day, but I urge you to at the very least do something nice for yourself. It could be as simple as writing a list of all the things you love about YOU! Cheesy, I know, but sometimes we really need to just take a second to appreciate all of the things we have achieved and all of the things we do like about ourselves; too often we get sucked into a whirlpool of disappointment and negativity. So, to inspire you, today I rounded up some of my favorite and nontraditional self-love related quotes to help you start brainstorming! Oh, and of course, I’m sharing a glitzy+girly outfit as well.
Today I decided to revisit some of my best holiday blog posts from seasons past! We can pretend that this was my plan all along for today’s post, but you can probably guess that the reason for this round-up is just ‘cause I wasn’t able to guilt someone into taking photos for me. Happens to the best of us. Anyway, I realized that I had a lot of really fun blog posts last holiday season, so might as well share them again. Need Christmas and New Year’s Eve outfit inspiration? I got you covered. Trying to overcome feelings of sadness that sometimes accompany this time of year? There’s a post for that too! Keep scrolling for all my best holiday outfits and ideas. Welcome to Thursday, y’all! The other day I was strolling through my favorite shoe store, DSW, to return some boots and browse the selection. Naturally, I tried on almost all the sample shoes… It’s just what I do! I hobble around with one shoe on and try on as many sample shoes as will fit my foot. In the process, I realized they have a killer selection right now of really cute flats, and I wanted to share them all with you today! Keep scrolling if you need to make room in your wallet (wink wink). Continue reading “Alternatives to Heels This Holiday Season”
