March 2024 Month in Review

First quarter of 2024 down! I spent a couple of minutes last week reviewing my quarterly goals (which I always forget to do regularly because they live in a different part of my planner), and I’m proud to say I didn’t do too shabby. This first quarter was largely about establishing routines—getting back into a regular posting schedule, starting to exercise again, etc.—and I’m happy with the progress I made in those areas. I think my goal to read 12 books this year was a little ambitious, though, because I’ve still only managed to get through about one a month! I also didn’t finish my college scrapbook yet or gain as many followers on Instagram as I had planned, but heck, I’ve been trying to move the needle on social media for years with no luck. Viva Magenta: The Pantone Color of the Year

I’m teaming up with seven other bloggers today to showcase how to style Pantone’s new color of the year: Viva Magenta! I’ve done a handful of Pantone-themed posts in the past (Ultra Violet in 2018, Living Coral in 2019, and Illuminating and Ultimate Grey in 2021), but this is the first year where I can really tell magenta is the hot new thing—my Instagram feed and stores alike have already been flooded with the bold shade of pink. Like last year’s Very Peri hue, it’s safe to say magenta is one of the more popular Pantone colors and that it will be everywhere in 2023! Study Abroad Semester in Review

For all my talk about study abroad, I realized I never went in-depth about the classes I took and what I learned. So, like I’ve done for some of my quarters at the University of Denver, I wanted to share a little recap about the four classes I took at the University of Glasgow and what I learned in each. If you read my blog post about differences in education between the U.S. and Scotland, then you probably already know I was a little disappointed with the academic aspect of my study abroad experience.
