Viva Magenta: The Pantone Color of the Year

I’m teaming up with seven other bloggers today to showcase how to style Pantone’s new color of the year: Viva Magenta! I’ve done a handful of Pantone-themed posts in the past (Ultra Violet in 2018, Living Coral in 2019, and Illuminating and Ultimate Grey in 2021), but this is the first year where I can really tell magenta is the hot new thing—my Instagram feed and stores alike have already been flooded with the bold shade of pink. Like last year’s Very Peri hue, it’s safe to say magenta is one of the more popular Pantone colors and that it will be everywhere in 2023! Weekly Recap #47, 2022

It’s been a long day of travel, but it was well worth it considering I just got back from such a relaxing week in Las Vegas with my boyfriend’s family. The university that employs me decided to give us last Wednesday and Friday off, in addition to the expected Thursday, which was such a treat! It was my first holiday spent away from my own family, so I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss them a ton… But I enjoyed trying new Thanksgiving foods and traditions, as well as soaking up the much warmer desert weather. Study Abroad Semester in Review

For all my talk about study abroad, I realized I never went in-depth about the classes I took and what I learned. So, like I’ve done for some of my quarters at the University of Denver, I wanted to share a little recap about the four classes I took at the University of Glasgow and what I learned in each. If you read my blog post about differences in education between the U.S. and Scotland, then you probably already know I was a little disappointed with the academic aspect of my study abroad experience.
