For the past several days, my dad and I have been going downtown every afternoon to squeeze in as many photoshoots as possible before I head back to school. I’ve been throwing outfits together left and right (while simultaneously trying to pack and do all my laundry), and it’s been so fun to try new combos and discover colorful backdrops all over town! New Year, New Goals

While it may be an increasingly unpopular opinion, I love the hope of a new year—the promise of a fresh start and a blank planner to fill with all my wildest aspirations. Will I lose this new year momentum by the time February rolls around? Probably, if I’m being honest with myself. But that doesn’t stop me from dreaming big every January and imagining what life I want to make for myself this year. We can all agree that 2020 wreaked havoc on our plans and goals, so I’m a little apprehensive about planning for 2021.
