I’m finally getting around to writing about my trip to Nashville! My boyfriend’s company is based there, so the two of us spent a week in Music City in early December to attend the company’s holiday party. I’ve been wanting to go to Nashville for a while—it’s such a trendy destination—and was glad to have the excuse to finally make it out there. The city turned out to be so different than I imagined, though! I’m sharing some of the activities we did below and then some general thoughts on Nashville at the end of the post. I also have an outfit guide planned for next week that I’m very excited about. Continue reading “What We Did in Nashville”

Today I wanted to share some of my favorite photos from Edinburgh and a list of fun activities and things to do in the city. Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, located on the Firth of Forth near the North Sea. The city has a rich history dating back to the 12th century and has both a medieval Old Town, complete with narrow alleys and a castle that is home to Scotland’s crown jewels, and a New Town, with neoclassical architecture and spacious gardens. I visited Edinburgh a handful of times while studying abroad in Glasgow, as the cities are just a short hour-long train ride apart. I learned quickly that there is a great debate among the Scottish regarding which of the two cities is better… While I prefer Glasgow myself, I understand the allure of Edinburghits charm and beauty certainly go unmatched!   Continue reading “Edinburgh, Scotland Travel Guide”

Today I wanted to share some pics from my visit to Ireland last week! We were so lucky with the weather—it was sunny for almost the entirety of our four-day trip—and everything was a lush green and in full bloom. This was the first vacation I’d ever taken with just a friend (no parental input whatsoever) so I was a little nervous going into it that I forgot about something important. I am a planner through and through, but I have to say that this trip was extremely spontaneous. Pretty much the only pre-thought I put into it was buying our plane tickets. Thankfully, aside from a shite hostel, everything went smoothly. It was a fun and very different experience for me to just go with the flow! Continue reading “A Quick Trip to Dublin and County Cork”
