As the title of this post says, happy Thanksgiving! I just wanted to pop on here really quickly to share these fun Turkey Day photos and my cute fall outfit. I don’t know about you, but I never get dressed on Thanksgiving until right before we eat. If that sounds at all familiar, I hope this post provides you some much needed last-minute outfit inspiration!

For me, Thanksgiving is all about being comfortable (and saving room for expansion) since I know I’ll be eating a ton. This year I decided to wear this really pretty burgundy sweater with embroidered sleeves. My suitemates bought it for me for my birthday, which was so so sweet! (Or should I say “suite”? Dad jokes, am I right?) If you love the sweater as much as I do, you can buy it HERE from Francesca’s. They’re having a bunch of sales right now, and this sweater also comes in a cream color. I’m wearing a size small! I paired the top with some fun accessories—the ribbon in my hair and my gold sparkly necklace—as well as comfy jeans that have lots of stretch. Who else is ready for the food baby?!

When I was younger I didn’t think much of Thanksgiving as a holiday (probably because there are no presents—I can’t be the only kid who thought that), but since going away to college, Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite holidays. Of course I love devouring all the delicious food, which tastes that much better after months of cafeteria dining, but I enjoy Turkey Day most because I get to spend it with my family. Returning home is such a joy, and sharing stories from the past year over a table of homecooked food is the best way I could spend any Thursday.

Naturally, no Thanksgiving post would be complete without thanking all of you, my followers, for the love and support you’ve shown over the years. Thank you for fueling this hobby of mine, and I hope all of you celebrating have a wonderful day filled with good food and even better company.

What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food? Your favorite tradition? And, most importantly, what kind of pie do you eat?? I always go for pumpkin, obviously, as well as chocolate pecan. So dang good!!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
