Happy holidays! I hope you’ve all survived the nightmarish traveling conditions of the past week… Boy, am I grateful that I came out to Boise so early. I’m not sure I’ll be as lucky on the return trip, though! I’m supposed to head back to Denver on Southwest this Friday so… wish me luck. Otherwise, last week consisted of remote work, lots of games, binging the most recent season of “The Handmaid’s Tale”, and quality family time. Another great Christmas in the books. Weekly Recap #50, 2022

Sheesh, how is it Saturday already?? I made it back to Boise last Sunday and suddenly lost all track of time. It still hasn’t sunk in for me yet that it’s not entirely accurate to say Idaho is my “home” anymore. I live in Denver now! Full-time, not just for college, but I still catch myself saying things like, “Oh yah, I live in Boise”. I wonder at what point Colorado will feel more like home than Idaho… I told my coworkers the other day how Boise has a New Year’s Eve “potato drop” instead of a “ball drop” and they thought that was hilarious. Weekly Recap #49, 2022

What a week in Nashville it’s been! I can’t say the “vacation” went exactly as I had planned, since my boyfriend and I both still had to work, but it was so much fun to explore a new city in the evenings. I’m working on my Nashville travel guide now and plan to post it later this week, along with a few outfits, so stay tuned for that. Tennessee was the third new state I got to cross off my list this year, and as tiring as traveling can be, I’m so grateful I’ve been able to explore so many new places in 2022!
