How do you feel about overalls? Are they cute or do they look ridiculous on a full-grown adult? I contemplated them for several months, thinking that other people always look really cute in theirs but feeling unsure if I could pull them off myself. May 2023 Month in Review

For once I can say a month went by slowly… It’s hard to believe that the Denver Mini Derby and my trip to Seattle were only a few weeks ago! I’m so excited for it to start feeling like summer, but I have to admit it’s a little weird to not have a summer vacation for the first time. I used to sit down at the beginning of every summer break and make a list of all the activities I wanted to do and goals I wanted to accomplish while school was out. But then, inevitably, I would spend most of the break doing nothing… and feeling rather content about it. The Long and Short of It

I’m obsessed with today’s spring outfit! I’m a little late posting this month, but yesterday marked another Thrifty Six collaboration with five of my blogging friends to showcase our secondhand style. May’s theme was The Long and Short of It. As my dad will happily tell you, I’m famously bad at knowing euphemisms… so I wasn’t exactly sure what this saying meant at first. According to Merriam-Webster, the phrase is “used when making a statement that is brief and that tells someone only the most important parts of something.” So basically the same thing as “long story short,” I think.
