This week I ate slept breathed PARTY!!! Saturday was the big night where I threw my aunt an 80s-themed 50th birthday bash, complete with a Pacman photobooth, snacks that were released in the 80s, trivia, dancing, and of course, a rocking playlist. Every spare second this week was spent making decorations and prepping for the big day, and it did not disappoint. It turned out to be everything I hoped for and more! I’ve had such a productive weekend! Boy, when was the last time I said that? As you know if you read all my weekly recaps, I’ve really been struggling with time management lately and have felt so behind in every aspect of my life. I finally put my head down and cranked out a lot of to-do list items this weekend, and it felt so good. I still have a lot of catching up to do, but I’m hopeful (probably too much so) that I can spend this next week finally getting on top of my to-do lists again—just in time to start reassessing my goals and getting into better habits as we enter the new year! I had the BEST week back in Boise with my parents for the holiday! It was really hard to say goodbye, but I’m so grateful I was able to visit (and show my boyfriend around my hometown for the first time). Usually I’m very much a homebody when I’m back in Boise, but my parents, boyfriend, and I really made the most of our visit—we went out almost every night to do some event around town. I love playing tourist in my own city! And, now that I’m over 21 (whoa, 24, how did that happen?!), I’m finally exploring some of the nightlife that the City of Trees has to offer.
