Meet Ernest

Howdy partner! (You can call me Woody.) Today, I’d like to introduce you to Ernest the Elephant. As some of you know (I mentioned it in my old About Page), I LOVE elephants; they’re my favorite animal, along with sharks. I actually counted the number of elephants in my room last night and I found at least 16. But what do these cute and lovable creatures have to do with a fashion blog?

If you’ve been following Graceful Rags for a while, you know that I’ve mentioned creating some sort of I Spy/Where’s Waldo? game for the blog. It’s always been on my mind, but I’ve never actually gone through with it. Until today!

So here’s how the game will work: In certain posts, I will hide Ernest in a photo or two and inform you that it is an “Ernest Exposed” post. As you read my post and scroll through the photos, keep your eyes peeled for little Ernest! If you spot him, leave me a comment including which picture he’s in (tell me something like “third from the bottom” or “the second pic from the top”) and where in the pic he’s hiding. If you can’t find him, stay tuned for the next post and I’ll reveal his secret location.

I always loved I Spy books when I was little, and I still enjoy jigsaw and crossword puzzles to this day. This fun addition to the blog is supposed to get you more engaged and give you something fun to do while you read my posts! I hope you enjoy it. 🙂 I certainly enjoy finding hiding places for Ernest.

In this post, Ernest can be spotted in three different photos, so let me know if you see him!

I wore this outfit to a nice dinner with friends and then to walk around a car show. If you want to recreate this look, it’s all about solid, bold color combinations. Stick with two main colors and then add a few sparkly accessories to top off the look. If you don’t have a black top and pink shorts, you could use a pink dress and black jacket, black pants/shorts and pink top, or an all black outfit with pink accessories.

This photo cracks me up. And with that, I’m signing off! Have a great Monday. 🙂

Miles of smiles,

Grace
