24 Hours in a Day and Only One to Be Upset

Let’s get real for a moment guys, let’s bring it down a notch…There are some sucky things out there that have the potential to ruin your day. Maybe you spill mustard all over your favorite white blouse (and know it’s going to stain). Maybe you get a bad grade on that big assignment you were worried about. Maybe people in your group project or at work are lazy bums who never do anything but take all the credit. OR MAYBE you go out of your way to do something nice for someone else (i.e. wait extra long to hold the door open) and they don’t even say thank you! (Talk about my pet peeve!!). Let me tell ya’, I have had some frustrating moments these past two days. BUT that’s all they should’ve been—just moments. Maybe She’s Born With It, Maybe It’s Confidence

Did you ever see the 2007 princess movie Enchanted? You know, the one with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey that combines (and pokes fun at) all the major fairy tales? If not, bear with me for a moment as I describe one of the scenes. Nathaniel, played by Timothy Spall aka Wormtail, watches a dramatic and horribly cheesy soap opera in which the angsty woman asks the man, “How can I love a man who doesn’t even like himself?” Is it weird that I remember this scene so vividly? The Woes of Shopping

On Friday of last week, after taking my last final, I drove over to the mall to try and find a spring dress to wear to graduation the next day (talk about procrastinating, I know). I was extremely disappointed that I didn’t find anything after 3 hours and over 5 stores. Can you believe that?! Today I wanted to share with you the three major issues I faced while shopping.
