The theme for this month’s Thrifty Six collaboration is winter weddings. I’ve never been to a winter wedding before, so I had fun imagining what I might wear! Something about a wedding in the wintertime feels more luxe to me, like you should be wearing all the rich, expensive fabrics you wouldn’t style during the summer (I’m thinking velvet, fur, silk, etc.). Shelbee commented on last month’s absurdity post saying that my monochrome teal ensemble would have been perfect for this month’s theme—I hadn’t thought about that but completely agree!
