Where did the weekend go?? I can’t believe it’s already Sunday night… My boyfriend and I are trying to decide if it went by so quickly because it’s the first weekend after a long break. Or maybe it’s because we just spent half of our Sunday at the Broncos v. Chargers football game downtown. The last weekly recap of 2022! I’m also sharing a photo from my 5th annual Elf on the Shelf photoshoot. For those of you who don’t follow me on Instagram, for the past five Christmases, I have dressed up as a makeshift elf and found a place in or around my parents’ house to sit. It all started in winter of 2018 when my mom pointed out that the red basketball shorts and green jacket I wore to bed looked very elf-like. An elf hat and some (rather annoying) jingling slippers later, a Christmas tradition was born. For once I can say that a month lasted so long. From Nashville to Boise with plenty of festive activities in between, it feels like December 1 was half a year ago, not just a couple of weeks. I had such a restful time back in Idaho with my family for Christmas, and while I’m excited to be in Denver again, I was also so sad to leave the good ole’ potato state.
