I apologize for missing Monday’s blog post! I always hate missing a post, but with Easter and traveling back to school, I was and still am very behind in photo taking (hence today’s recap-style post). I got these houndstooth trousers at the start of high school seven years ago to fit into my school’s dress code policy, since we weren’t allowed to wear blue jeans, and they have been one of my favorite pairs of pants ever since. As my peers and I start to add more professional pieces to our wardrobes, it’s important to remember that work style doesn’t have to mean drab or stuffy. Nor does it only have to be worn at work! Seeing Double: Winter Edition

Y’all know I’m all about versatility and rewearing items when it comes to fashion, so today I wanted to showcase two ways to wear the same basic outfit—a grey sweater and a black corduroy skirt. While I do repeat outfits sometimes, I love trying to wear a new combo every day. Emphasis on the word combo. My College Capsule Wardrobe: Reflections, Lessons Learned, and 38 Capsule Outfits

If you’ve been following me the last couple of months, you’ve probably heard me talk about my capsule wardrobe countless times. The story goes like this: I am a junior in college, and due to the coronavirus pandemic, the university told us to pack as light as possible in the event that we would have to move back home suddenly (which, to my surprise, didn’t end up happening). Naturally, as a fashion and shoe lover, most of the things I bring with me to school are pieces I wear on my person (boxes and boxes of clothes and shoes). I knew I really needed to pare down my packing list this school year—and thus, my first capsule wardrobe was born.
