Fall is In the Air (And So Are the Leaves…)

Sorry I’ve been a little MIA on the blog this week. I feel like this time of year is always super crazy! It makes me kind of sad though because then I can’t fully enjoy the beauty of fall. That’s why it was such a nice break from my day to take these photos and frolic around in the leaves. 🙂 Continue reading “Fall is In the Air (And So Are the Leaves…)”

The Most Impractical Styles in Fashion

Pic 3

With New York Fashion Week happening right now, it seems that every big blogger and her sister are sharing their experiences and videotaping the runway shows for all to view on Instagram Stories. While this is all very fun (and I’d love to be at NYFW if I could), I’ve never understood how most fashion shows and the high-end fashion world involve so many un-wearable pieces. Most of the stuff you see in shows is just not practical. That’s what is confusing about fashion—anyone should be able to attain it since we all get dressed in the morning, yet the high-end fashion industry is anything but made for the average person. Anyway, with that in mind, I’ve rounded up a list of the most impractical styles in fashion (in no particular order), just for giggles. 😉 I hope you enjoy! Fun and Colorful

Hello everyone!

What better way is there to start the week than with an outfit that makes you happy? This outfit is so colorful and bright, I can’t help but smile. I love this crochet tank for summer and fall, but I usually pair it with the same two bottoms over and over again. I couldn’t believe I had never thought to pair it with these bright orange pants!

I wore this outfit on a day trip to Colorado Springs. It was the perfect outfit to wear while exploring downtown and shopping. It’s super comfortable, and my new hat did a great job of keeping the sun off my face. It did not, however, keep my shoulders from getting burned! Speaking of sunburns, did anyone notice my racerback tan? It’s bad, I know.

If anyone is gluten-free and visiting Colorado Springs anytime soon, you have to stop at Coquette’s Bistro and Bakery. It is 100% gluten-free and absolutely delicious! I was overwhelmed by all of the GF options and had a hard time deciding what to get. In the end, I went with the chicken strips and a maple bacon donut for dessert. Yum!

Grace
