All the fall vibes for today’s Western-inspired outfit! I’m teaming up with the other seven bloggers of the Magnificent Eight again to showcase that you can’t put an age on style. Western was the perfect theme for October because you could take it as costume-y (think cowgirl) or as casual as you liked! I think with the right makeup my outfit is giving scarecrow vibes. Well, I’d say it was a pretty successful week—knocked off lots of fall bucket list items as well as car-related chores, which are some of my least favorite. I also successfully contested a (rather unfair) parking ticket that I received several weeks ago. Clearly the county of Denver agreed that it was unwarranted because the ticket and fine are no more, woohoo! Even though “adulting” stuff like emissions testing and getting your car registered in a new state are a pain in the butt, I still love post-grad life—nothing like coming home after work and not having a pile of homework to do. Fall weather has officially arrived here in Denver! I’m excited to be breaking out all the sweaters, booties, and even tights in this week’s outfits. I really need to get back into the habit of bringing a coat with me when I leave my apartment, though, because I keep leaving without one and then regret it during my walk into work.
