Leopard + Linen for the Summertime

I’m teaming up with the other seven ladies of the Magnificent 8 again today to showcase that you can’t put an age on style. This quarter’s theme is ‘linen’, and boy did I have to dig deep! As much as I love the idea of linen shorts or billowy white linen pants for the summertime, I don’t own any such pieces, and I actually thought I might have to go buy something to fulfill the theme. I admit that I’m not well-versed in my fabrics, but I just so happened to wear this beige dress to work a few weeks ago—the thought crossed my mind to check the tag, and lucky for me, it was linen! Weekly Recap #29, 2022

Unlike in today’s sunny cover photo (which is of the creek right near my office building!), it was a 60-something, stormy day here in Denver, a nice respite from the heat wave of the past week. I love summer thunderstorms, and as much as I’ve been enjoying summer, the chill in the air today gave me the slightest bit of excitement for fall. This week’s big update is that I finally started living in my apartment. If you missed the last few recaps, it’s been a slow moving-in process over the past month, but I got all my furniture moved in last weekend and finally got internet installed this week, the final step before migrating from my aunt’s place to my own apartment. Hey, remember that time when I actually used to post regularly? Yah, me too.
