Long time, no see? I was disappointed to miss Thursday’s blog post, considering I haven’t missed a post in several months, but I have never had so much schoolwork than I did this past week. Usually on the quarter system, we have 10 weeks of instruction, finals week, and then spring break. Well, for some reason that will never make sense to me, the university decided to get rid of finals week this quarter, meaning the past five days were crammed with normal assignments, exams, and final projects all at once. I didn’t think the absence of a designated finals week would be a big deal but boy, was I wrong!

In other news, my mom sent me this green wig as a fun St. Patrick’s Day accessory, and I have to admit, I kinda dig the look. Maybe I should cut and dye my hair for real?! Continue reading “Weekly Recap #12, 2021”

Yesterday afternoon, I did my hair and makeup and marched out to campus to take some blog photos for the week, including a green outfit to share for a St. Patrick’s Day-themed post. 5 Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (That Don’t Involve Alcohol)

green striped tee, black shorts, brown sandals

It’s no surprise that St. Patrick’s Day is often just an excuse to party and drink lots of beer (cheers!), and I imagine it won’t be much different on a college campus. BUT I wanted to provide some alcohol-free ideas to celebrate for all of us minors. It’s easy to only look forward to the “big” holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, but why can’t we get hyped for the little holidays too? No need to discriminate. If you haven’t caught on by now, I’ll find any reason to dress up, throw a party, or put out decorations, and the seemingly-trivial St. Patty’s Day is no exception. So without further ado, here are some of my favorite green outfits and a handful of ideas to have a good time this weekend!
