Does it even count as a monthly recap post if it’s already halfway through the next month? I swear it was Halloween yesterday. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately, and I’m going to have to make a change with my blog. I just can’t keep up with my posts the same way I used to anymore… I’m not sure what exactly things will look like yet, but I definitely won’t be gone permanently. These Boots Were Made for Walking…

I’m super excited today to be teaming up with VIVAIA, a relatively new footwear company! I’ve been wanting to work with them for a while now, so you can imagine my excitement when I saw an email from their marketing team in my inbox. The company was founded in 2020 and was initially known for their flats. Now they have expanded to include heels, booties, tall boots, and even some accessories and clothing. Why I Will Never Want a Career in Fashion

One of the most-asked questions I receive from family members and strangers is if I would ever want to pursue something fashion-related as my full-time job. In fact, when I was a senior in high school, people would often ask me, or even assume, that I would want to study fashion in college. Obviously, I took a very different route by studying criminology and geography. I started college wide-eyed and undeclared, but I always knew fashion was on the list of things I did not want to study. When people asked me again during my Graceful Rags tabling event last week whether or not I wanted a career in fashion (or if I would ever blog full-time, if the opportunity presented itself), I was not surprised to find that my answer was still a quick and unequivocal “no”.
