Happy Monday, friends! I just finished the most amazing week spent at my grandparents’ cabin, which included lots of hiking, game playing, movie watching, and of course, social distancing. If you’ve missed me on Instagram and Pinterest, that’s why I’ve been absent! Gotta love that mountain internet connection (i.e. nonexistent). No, really, it was amazing to not stress about posting regularly to social media. But today I’m finally back to civilization, and I wanted to round up some of my favorite 4th of July outfits from over the years, as the holiday is quickly approaching. I initially had planned a cute and casual look for this post, but I got so caught up in the relaxation of being in the mountains that I never ended up taking any blog photos! So here we are. I hope you enjoy! Continue reading “4th of July Outfit Inspiration”

Last year for my Valentine’s Day blog post (which was published on the actual holiday), I wrote a very cheesy love letter to you, my follower. When I reread the post this year, I physically cringed – the writing is just so sappy! I really don’t know what I was thinking when I wrote it, ha. Regardless, the post received a very positive response, so if you’re needing a little extra love today, you can swing by and read my love letter to you (do your best not to cringe). But this year, I decided I wanted to take a different approach and just have FUN! So, not only am I sharing this very pretty dress, but I’m also listing all the V-Day themed activities I have planned for tomorrow, to give you some inspiration. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I LOVE coming up with festive red and pink outfits, whether they be for date nights or a night out with the girls. I’ve already seen so many cute V-Day looks on Instagram and Pinterest this season! While heart and lip patterned items can be cute, it’s usually difficult for me to find pieces that aren’t tacky, which is why I prefer to stick to classic red and pink clothing. That way you can wear them throughout the year, rather than saving pieces exclusively for February, and you can accessorize with glam V-Day themed jewelry and hair pieces instead. So without further ado, I decided to round up some stylin’ red and pink pieces for you to shop before February 14, as well as sharing my own Valentine inspired outfit from items already in my closet. Just click any of the tiny shoppable photos to be redirected to the store’s website! Continue reading “Valentine’s Day Favorites”
