I apologize for missing Monday’s blog post! I always hate missing a post, but with Easter and traveling back to school, I was and still am very behind in photo taking (hence today’s recap-style post). I got these houndstooth trousers at the start of high school seven years ago to fit into my school’s dress code policy, since we weren’t allowed to wear blue jeans, and they have been one of my favorite pairs of pants ever since. As my peers and I start to add more professional pieces to our wardrobes, it’s important to remember that work style doesn’t have to mean drab or stuffy. Nor does it only have to be worn at work! When (Style) Inspiration Strikes

For the past several days, my dad and I have been going downtown every afternoon to squeeze in as many photoshoots as possible before I head back to school. I’ve been throwing outfits together left and right (while simultaneously trying to pack and do all my laundry), and it’s been so fun to try new combos and discover colorful backdrops all over town! The Composition of My Closet

Coming at ya’ a little later than usual today! I’ve had such a busy week of projects and big assignments, so I’m hoping to crank out this blog post as a break from my schoolwork. Back in high school, probably at least once a week, one of my friends would say the following to me: “I love your [insert clothing item here] Grace, where’s it from? Oh, let me guess—Francesca’s!” My friends used to give me SO much crap because it seemed like everything I owned was from Francesca’s; I was basically a walking advertisement.
