Unlike in today’s sunny cover photo (which is of the creek right near my office building!), it was a 60-something, stormy day here in Denver, a nice respite from the heat wave of the past week. I love summer thunderstorms, and as much as I’ve been enjoying summer, the chill in the air today gave me the slightest bit of excitement for fall. This week’s big update is that I finally started living in my apartment. If you missed the last few recaps, it’s been a slow moving-in process over the past month, but I got all my furniture moved in last weekend and finally got internet installed this week, the final step before migrating from my aunt’s place to my own apartment.
