I’ve been so good about getting my weekly recap posts up every single Sunday this year, but I just didn’t have it in me yesterday! So, I’m posting a day late and will be sharing my usual month-in-review blog post on Thursday instead. It was such a fun Halloweekend, and for once the weekend actually felt really long—up until I had to wake up this morning, of course. Weekly Recap #43, 2021

What a whirlwind of a week! I was so nervous before starting senior year that it would be disappointing without so many of my friends who graduated in the spring, but it’s safe to say that this school year has been an absolute blast so far. One of my best friends from high school visited me in Denver this weekend, so we were running around like madmen trying to squeeze in as much as possible in the two and a half days she was here. I feel like I need a weekend for the weekend! My only complaint is that my outfits were really lackluster this week—I should’ve stepped up my fall style game. Weekly Recap #42, 2021

Today’s post is going up so late because I spent the past six hours with a friend procuring a pumpkin and making gluten-free pumpkin bread from scratch… It was an ordeal, but thank goodness the loaves turned out yummy! I also asked him to take a cheesy picture of me mixing the batter like in a 1950s housewife commercial for today’s cover photo—I think we nailed it. In other news, this past week marked halfway through the quarter, which meant I spent a bulk of my time studying for two midterms.
