What an exciting week! For those of you who followed my weekly recaps in the spring, you probably remember me talking about how much I wanted to hike a 14er (a 14,000+ ft. mountain—it’s quite “the thing” here in Colorado). The spring ended up being really rainy, and I could never find the perfect day/weather to make it happen. Finally, several months later, I hiked my first 14er on Saturday! This is a pic of me at the summit holding my quintessential cardboard sign marking the momentous occasion. I’m so excited to have finally checked this off my bucket list—it was a blast.
