Today I want to start the tradition of publishing a monthly round-up blog post at the end of each month. I’ve seen other bloggers do these weekly and monthly recap posts (especially Styled by McKenz—if you don’t follow her, you should!), and I love the journal-like vibe of them. Not to mention, I’m not the best at setting short-term goals. I always have the big ideas swirling in my head but have a much harder time breaking them down to smaller, more manageable chunks and timeframes. Hopefully these monthly posts help me do just that, as well as allow me to share what has inspired, entertained, and interested me during this past month. Here we go! I think we all can agree that Zoom University has been pretty interesting so far, don’t you think? It will definitely take some adjusting to get back into my usual school groove now that I’m still at home and classes are virtual. But with that said, I wanted to spend today’s blog post trying to convince you that you should still get dressed for your online classes, or virtual work, or anything else you’re doing while at home, even if you are just staying in your bedroom all day… Now I’m not saying you have to get completely dolled up—even I won’t be wearing blazers anytime soon—but I am asking that you at least swap the pajama pants for a pair of jeans or leggings. The year is 2035, and in-person clothing shopping as we know it… has become extinct. Gone are the days of turning a boring Saturday afternoon into a shopping trip to the mall with your besties. Forgotten is the time when you had to brainstorm the perfect shopping outfit, one that would allow maximum foot comfort as you walked back and forth across the mall but would also ensure the most efficiency as you changed in and out of your clothes in the solitude of a dressing room.
