This Saturday is Cinco de Mayo (where has April gone?!) so I wanted to share a few ideas for how to celebrate. I’ve taken four years of high school Spanish, and the teachers always remind us that Cinco de Mayo isn’t a real Mexican holiday. It celebrates the Mexican victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla during the French-Mexican War. However, besides in the town of Puebla, not many Mexicans celebrate it (or at least, so I’m told). Rather, it’s an Americanized holiday used as an excuse to drink margaritas. 😉 But that’s enough history for one day! Because Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, I wanted to share my favorite pink and red outfits from the past with y’all. Despite loving these two colors, I’ve realized I don’t actually own a ton of pink or red! I’ll have to get on that. 😉 Anyway, a lot of these photos are from really old blog posts, so the quality isn’t that great. I’ll also be sharing two additional Valentine’s Day outfits in the coming weeks! Enjoy this round-up. 🙂 Continue reading “Pink and Red, Enough Said”
Merry Christmas to all of you who are celebrating today!! I hope you are having a wonderful day full of laughter and cheer. 😀 As some of you may have seen on my Instagram post yesterday, I had a photoshoot planned but then it began to snow, which left me with no new content for today’s post.
