Happy Friday! I’m so thankful it’s the weekend finally… The first week back at school is always so stressful, and on top of that, I have a cold now! Ugh. BUT I’m excited to share 3 super simple, super fast hairstyles to rock under your favorite beanies this winter. I love wearing beanies when it’s cold outside, but I don’t love looking like I don’t have any hair underneath the hat – you feel? And if I choose to wear a hat, it’s probably either because a) I’m lazy, or b) my hair is dirty. So I’m definitely not going to have gorgeously curled locks flowing from my beanie, like you see all over Pinterest. If you follow me on Instagram and saw Thursday’s blog post, then you probably noticed I chopped off all my hair—more than ten inches worth! I’ve been known in the past to secretly plan a hair appointment and then show up to school the next day with all my hair gone; something about the shock of such a big change is thrilling to me. Some people say I’m brave and that they could never do the big chop like I do, but I’ve always disagreed. While they feel super attached to their hair and protected by it, I, in contrast, associate chopping my locks with freedom and positive transformation.
