I’m so excited for today’s blog post! I spent last night surfing the web for the prettiest (and most reasonably priced) formal dresses for your next big occasion…as well as shoes, accessories, and clutches to come in clutch (as the kids say). I really love how all these looks turned out, and even though I may not have a formal event coming up any time soon—sad day—I do know lots of you have prom to look forward to! I don’t miss high school, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss homecoming and prom. So whether you have an auction, dance, sorority formal, or other event that requires dressing up, I’ve got you covered! Literally, because going naked might be too much of a statement. Barbie Girl in a Barbie Ornament World

I am not ashamed to say you’re looking at a former Barbie girl—whether it be in car rides, the bath tub, or even a trip to Ireland, I almost always had a gorgeous plastic lady in hand. More than the dolls themselves, I loved the fashion outlet they provided. I often created my own dresses by wrapping bandannas and strips of fabric into fabulous ballgowns, topping off the outfit with minuscule heels and the perfect hairdo. Of course, no formal attire was complete without an extravagant backstory as to where Barbie would be wearing her mini-couture gowns. I was a fashion designer, and my dolls were my runway models. My First Tailoring Experience
