Why I Will Never Want a Career in Fashion

One of the most-asked questions I receive from family members and strangers is if I would ever want to pursue something fashion-related as my full-time job. In fact, when I was a senior in high school, people would often ask me, or even assume, that I would want to study fashion in college. Obviously, I took a very different route by studying criminology and geography. I started college wide-eyed and undeclared, but I always knew fashion was on the list of things I did not want to study. In the month of April, I celebrated Easter with the fam, knocked out both of my Saturday entrepreneurship classes for the quarter, finally hosted the long-anticipated party for my friend’s birthday, and spent a day in Fort Collins. Oh, and I also had my first photoshoot with a real photographer! Today’s photos were taken downtown by Jacque Cochrane as part of a collaboration. Even though my blog is still small, I’m so grateful for the cool people I’ve met and the unique experiences I’ve had through this little space on the web. Now, onto the recap!
