I’m coming at ya’ a day later than usual because I have been having such a fun long weekend with my parents! I took today off from work, and we spent the last few days exploring Colorado Springs and its surrounding areas. I need to start breaking out all my winter accessories (hats, gloves, scarves) because it has been quite chilly the past few days—Denver even got its first proper snow flurry last Thursday. Fun and Colorful

Hello everyone!

What better way is there to start the week than with an outfit that makes you happy? This outfit is so colorful and bright, I can’t help but smile. I love this crochet tank for summer and fall, but I usually pair it with the same two bottoms over and over again. I couldn’t believe I had never thought to pair it with these bright orange pants!

I wore this outfit on a day trip to Colorado Springs. It was the perfect outfit to wear while exploring downtown and shopping. It’s super comfortable, and my new hat did a great job of keeping the sun off my face. It did not, however, keep my shoulders from getting burned! Speaking of sunburns, did anyone notice my racerback tan? It’s bad, I know.

If anyone is gluten-free and visiting Colorado Springs anytime soon, you have to stop at Coquette’s Bistro and Bakery. It is 100% gluten-free and absolutely delicious! I was overwhelmed by all of the GF options and had a hard time deciding what to get. In the end, I went with the chicken strips and a maple bacon donut for dessert. Yum!
