Hi everyone!

I’m so excited about today’s post; I love this dress so much! I smile every time I put it on because it reminds me of a flapper girl, and I have a slight obsession with the Roaring Twenties… I actually have worn this dress twice as part of a flapper girl costume, but I’ll save those pictures for another day.

I wore this outfit to an anniversary party at a golf course. I don’t attend a whole lot of fancy events, so I was pretty excited that this party called for a dress and heels. I was running late, otherwise I probably would have done something cool to my hair.

I don’t know if my feet have gotten smaller since the last time I wore these heels or if my shoes just stretched out, but they definitely seemed way bigger than I remember. I have trouble walking in heels on a good day, so having my feet slip around in them did not help.

How gorgeous is this purse from Charming Charlie?! I feel like you can’t get more Roaring Twenties than that. I received it as a birthday gift last year, and while this exact purse is no longer available, there are plenty of other pretty evening bags from the RSVP Collection on their website. I’ve had my eye on this one for a while. The palm print is perfect for summer!

Does anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?

A Fashion Blog is Born…

affordable fashion blog, navy lace dress, yellow purse

Hi everyone! My name is Grace and this is my first blog post—ever! I’m so excited to finally start a fashion blog. It has been a dream of mine for years now, and I just can’t believe that it’s finally happening.

As you can read on my About page, I’ve started this blog to bring affordable and practical fashion inspiration to women. In every outfit post, I will say where I bought each item, how much I paid for each article of clothing, and where I wore the outfit as proof that the outfits I create are both affordable and practical for the average woman.

On my blog, you’ll notice that I re-wear a lot of the same pieces in new and interesting ways. I’m a firm believer in getting my money’s worth out of clothes, so I’m not the type of person who wears a piece only once. You’ll also notice that I don’t wear high heeled shoes very often. I love a good pair of heels as much as the next girl, but they just don’t fit into my lifestyle.

I’m so glad you’ve stumbled upon this blog, and I’d love for you to join me on this journey!

Miles of smiles,

Grace
