Sweater Weather (and Shoppable) OOTDs

Thanksgiving outfit, glass pumpkin centerpiece

New week, new outfit of the days to share… I realized it’s been a minute (as the kids say) since I last posted my recent OOTDs, so I rounded up some of my favorites for today’s blog post. As always, I mention where I wore the outfit, where I purchased each item, and how much I paid. You can also click the links to see where I last styled a piece on the blog – I’m all about that versatility! And now, the newest feature of my OOTD posts is that you can finally shop similar looks to recreate my outfits yourself. This is the part of the blog post where I say something cheesy, like, “Let’s get started!” Continue reading “Sweater Weather (and Shoppable) OOTDs”

Valentine’s Day Favorites

V-Day, Valentine's Day outfit, red blouse

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and I LOVE coming up with festive red and pink outfits, whether they be for date nights or a night out with the girls. I’ve already seen so many cute V-Day looks on Instagram and Pinterest this season! While heart and lip patterned items can be cute, it’s usually difficult for me to find pieces that aren’t tacky, which is why I prefer to stick to classic red and pink clothing. That way you can wear them throughout the year, rather than saving pieces exclusively for February, and you can accessorize with glam V-Day themed jewelry and hair pieces instead. So without further ado, I decided to round up some stylin’ red and pink pieces for you to shop before February 14, as well as sharing my own Valentine inspired outfit from items already in my closet. Just click any of the tiny shoppable photos to be redirected to the store’s website! Continue reading “Valentine’s Day Favorites”

How to Save Money Shopping with an Excel Spreadsheet

Excel spreadsheet, shopping, cost per wear, saving money

Happy 2020! Have you had to sign anything in the last few days?? I’ve already written “2019” at least twice… You know how it is. With the new year, I wanted to share a few ways you can save money shopping in 2020 by making an Excel cost per wear spreadsheet. I first shared my obsessive Excel clothing spreadsheet in a blog post back in June, and it was such a hit that I wanted to explain how to make your own as we enter the new year. And of course, how to use it to get the most out of your closet and your clothing budget! Continue reading “How to Save Money Shopping with an Excel Spreadsheet”
