Why I Prefer to Shop in Person

If you read my Unpopular Fashion Opinions blog post from a few weeks ago, you may recall that one of my opinions is that I’d much rather shop in person, for any item, any day of the week. It seems that most people prefer to shop online (especially now, since it’s kind of been the only option for the past year), claiming that they like to purchase clothes from the comfort of their own homes while wearing their PJs. But you know me, I’ll take any excuse to get dressed, and that includes a cute outfit just to go to the mall. So whichever side you support, here are all the reasons I’d much rather shop in person. Patterned Patootie: Why You Can Totally Rock Printed Pants

I feel like there’s this stigma surrounding patterned pants…that only certain people can pull them off, or only stick-thin girls can wear them. I’m here to tell you that’s BS! I absolutely love wearing printed pants, and they add so much spice and personality to your wardrobe. That’s why I’m rounding up a bunch of old outfits with patterned bottoms. Fun and Colorful

Hello everyone!

What better way is there to start the week than with an outfit that makes you happy? This outfit is so colorful and bright, I can’t help but smile. I love this crochet tank for summer and fall, but I usually pair it with the same two bottoms over and over again. I couldn’t believe I had never thought to pair it with these bright orange pants!

I wore this outfit on a day trip to Colorado Springs. It was the perfect outfit to wear while exploring downtown and shopping. It’s super comfortable, and my new hat did a great job of keeping the sun off my face. It did not, however, keep my shoulders from getting burned! Speaking of sunburns, did anyone notice my racerback tan? It’s bad, I know.

If anyone is gluten-free and visiting Colorado Springs anytime soon, you have to stop at Coquette’s Bistro and Bakery. It is 100% gluten-free and absolutely delicious! I was overwhelmed by all of the GF options and had a hard time deciding what to get. In the end, I went with the chicken strips and a maple bacon donut for dessert. Yum!
