I’ve been thinking for a while that it’d be fun to do a post about high school and what I’ve learned from it, now that I am officially graduated. What I didn’t realize is that it would be much harder than I expected. I initially planned to write some tips and tricks to help current students, but I realized nothing I had to say was of value. In order to really share some insight, I’d have to get personal. And vulnerable. Something I’ve never really done on the blog before (and that scares me). The Most Impractical Styles in Fashion

With New York Fashion Week happening right now, it seems that every big blogger and her sister are sharing their experiences and videotaping the runway shows for all to view on Instagram Stories. While this is all very fun (and I’d love to be at NYFW if I could), I’ve never understood how most fashion shows and the high-end fashion world involve so many un-wearable pieces. Most of the stuff you see in shows is just not practical. That’s what is confusing about fashion—anyone should be able to attain it since we all get dressed in the morning, yet the high-end fashion industry is anything but made for the average person. I feel like for everyday gals like us, fashion can get a bit boring.
