School is almost out and I’ve got summertime on my mind! Since I’ve been feeling uninspired by the wardrobe I have here at college lately, I decided to round up some of my favorite past summer outfits to create a lookbook of everything I will be rewearing this year. A Few Simple Tips to Make Your Wardrobe More Sustainable

In celebration of Earth Day today, I wanted to share a blog post centered on sustainability in fashion. I imagined this post featuring photos taken in the beautiful Rocky Mountains to celebrate the wonder and awe of Mother Nature, but of course, the rainy and snowy weather of the past few weeks had different plans for me. I do have to admit, though, that I am a little apprehensive to publish this blog post… Why? Because talking about sustainability in fashion seems like an oxymoron. After all, we all know that the fashion industry is a major polluter to the environment and a huge emitter of greenhouse gases. Fashion blogging itself, something that I am so passionate about, is often inherently contradictory to the goals of sustainability and ‘green living’. So as fashion lovers, how can we reconcile this? Six Ways to Wear Houndstooth Pants

I apologize for missing Monday’s blog post! I always hate missing a post, but with Easter and traveling back to school, I was and still am very behind in photo taking (hence today’s recap-style post). I got these houndstooth trousers at the start of high school seven years ago to fit into my school’s dress code policy, since we weren’t allowed to wear blue jeans, and they have been one of my favorite pairs of pants ever since. As my peers and I start to add more professional pieces to our wardrobes, it’s important to remember that work style doesn’t have to mean drab or stuffy. Nor does it only have to be worn at work!
