Viva Magenta: The Pantone Color of the Year

I’m teaming up with seven other bloggers today to showcase how to style Pantone’s new color of the year: Viva Magenta! I’ve done a handful of Pantone-themed posts in the past (Ultra Violet in 2018, Living Coral in 2019, and Illuminating and Ultimate Grey in 2021), but this is the first year where I can really tell magenta is the hot new thing—my Instagram feed and stores alike have already been flooded with the bold shade of pink. Like last year’s Very Peri hue, it’s safe to say magenta is one of the more popular Pantone colors and that it will be everywhere in 2023! September 2022 Month in Review

For once I can say that the month of September felt very long—not in a bad way, but Labor Day weekend feels like forever ago. I started September by hosting a friend from out of town and ended the month in Las Vegas celebrating my grandpa’s 90th birthday—with lots of blog posts, soccer games, and even a wedding in between. Like I mentioned in a recent post, I’m finally starting to feel settled into my post-grad routine. I’ve been cooking more, I hung my last decoration in my apartment Tuesday night, and I have a surprisingly busy social calendar. The only thing I still haven’t figured out quite yet is where exercise falls into my schedule—now that my soccer season has ended, I really need to get back into a workout routine!  Continue reading “September 2022 Month in Review”

July 2022 Month in Review

How stinking cute is this outfit?? Don’t mind me as I toot my own horn… I thrifted these fuzzy Steve Madden sneakers a while ago but this is the first time I’m wearing them. They’re just too fun to resist. I paired them with my pinstripe + polka dot button down, dark wash Express jeans, and dainty pearl accessories. The mint Kate Spade New York purse was a graduation gift and my new ‘everyday’ bag (contrary to popular belief, I do not usually switch my purses for every outfit—only for special occasion looks).
