It’s time for the first Magnificent 8 collaboration of the new year and we’re getting a little creative this time around. Rather than a color or specific type of clothing, this quarter’s theme is ‘wearing something in an unconventional way,’ which is SUCH a fun idea! Usually I would associate this kind of out-of-the-box outfit creation with the summer months (for example, last summer I styled a skirt as a top and it was a huge hit), but I had a more difficult time thinking of creative winter-appropriate outfits. After spending the fall semester of school with only a small portion of my wardrobe to choose from, I was extremely excited to return home and start styling outfits with all the pieces I had left behind. My College Capsule Wardrobe

Well folks, I made it to my apartment! My dad and I got here last night, and we’ve been spending today unpacking, shopping, etc. I’m so excited because unpacking is one of my favorite things, and today I’m breaking down the capsule wardrobe I brought for college this year (if you’ve been here awhile, you’ve probably heard me talking about it for months). While my school is returning to in-person classes for now, there’s a possibility they’ll send everyone home again, so we were instructed to “only pack the essentials”.
