It may be cliché, but I’m going to say it anyway: It’s that time of year again…

You know, the time when everyone returns from an amazing spring break and gets slapped in the face when they realize they are not, in fact, on summer vacation yet, and there’s still a few months of school remaining before freedom. Yeah, you know the feeling. Flowers start to bloom, the weather warms up, and all we want to do is bask lazily in the sunshine instead of stay cooped up indoors, studying. I think the eye roll in the photo above says it all! As a student, staying motivated during the spring—the “home stretch” between spring break and summer vacation—can be a really difficult task. Boy, is it good to be back at blogging! It felt very strange these last couple of weeks, skipping posts and missing social media updates. Not only did I feel like a major slacker, but it also seemed like a small piece of myself was missing (it must have been hiding under my bed, along with my motivation). But thankfully, both are back now, and I’m excited to share my best tips for a salon-grade manicure done by none other than yourself. I’ve recently become very interested in nails and upkeeping them regularly, so I have my little routine down to a science. People have even asked where I get my nails done, thinking they are acrylic, but I assure you that they’re au natural! When Inspiration [Doesn’t] Strike

If you follow me on Instagram and watch my outfit of the day videos, you may have heard me talk about feeling uninspired lately…like REALLY uninspired. What’s with that?! There are so many cool and interesting and creative people in the world, so it seems like I should be constantly experiencing that spark of inspiration too. But here’s the thing: it’s near impossible to feel bubbling with creativity all the time. And that’s totally okay!
