It’s Friday! It feels so nice to know you’ve made it through the week and that you have a relaxing weekend ahead. I plan on spending some time outside reading and maybe going on a hike. I love just sitting outside on cool summer evenings, whether that be with my favorite book characters or my favorite people. 🙂 Do any of you have fun plans for the weekend? Happy Wednesday! Hopefully you’ve been having a pretty awesome week so far.
I wore this outfit while in Colorado for a day of driving and exploring cities. I love that it looks like a romper (like the two-piece set in this post), but doesn’t have any of the fit or functionality issues of one. This is one of my go-to summer outfits because it keeps me cool and allows me a little more movement than a dress or skirt, which I also love to wear on hot days. However, the materials of the shirt and shorts in particular are very static-prone, which is quite annoying. If anyone has any suggestions to prevent static, I’d love to hear them!
These pictures don’t have the best lighting because a summer thunderstorm was rolling in. Does anyone else love summer thunderstorms? I think they are a lot of fun to watch from a covered porch or from your window, and the smell of rain in the summer is so refreshing!

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend.
I wore this outfit in Kansas! We spent most of the day driving, but this outfit was super comfortable for being in a car all day. The pants feel like pajamas. Usually my travel outfits consist of jeans or athletic shorts and an old t-shirt, so to find a cute and comfortable outfit for traveling was exciting.
The lighting in these pictures make my top look like a red/brown color, but it is actually maroon. I’m not going to lie, I have this top in three different colors…I feel like if you like a piece that much, why not get it in every color? And this mock-neck top was only $11, so it just makes sense.
